Now, each player starts a game of Exploding Kittens with a hand of cards containing one cat-bomb-defusal card. Becoming a new board gamer, and getting others to play with you is always easier through a game and theme that everyone enjoys. With that said, even though I don’t like Exploding Kittens, if you’re new to board gaming and like the exploding cats. The game design isn’t as sharp or snappy as it needs to be to compete with today’s board games. Outside of the Oatmeal’s art and humour, which are both great. Laying all my cards on the table, I’m not a fan of Exploding Kittens.
